The newly hired person will belong to a team that works on international projects, co-creating advanced railway traffic control systems with a high level of safety in Katowice's R&D.


Main responisibilities:

  • Design & Development of the source code

  • Requirement management & Technical & Design documentation

  • Fixing defects and relevant maintenance of development environment


Expected profile:

  • BA/MSc in IT or related field

  • Solid professional experience in C programming, relevant C++ knowledge

  • Good leadership skills with interest to guide projects technically  and/ or previous experience in software development coordinating role
  • Development of mission-critical code, in compliance with MISRA or similar standarization

  • Knowledge of the Linux environment,

  • Knowledge of scripting languages ​​such as Bash, Python, etc.,

  • Experience in working with GIT / SVN repositories,

  • Very good level od English used for international project communication


To be an asset:

  • Knowledge of GDB, Linux system internals (e.g. IPC mechanics, dynamic library loading, GDB-related hacks and the like) 

  • SCRUM/ Agile approach experience
