Could you be the full-time Signalling Project Site Manager in Katowice we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your railway engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful integration and installation of systems within the Mainline and Urban (M&U) Trackside Signaling scope. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project management, installation engineering, procurement, and logistics), manage and organize site activities, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of managing installation works and site surveys, but also drive continuous improvements in our processes and tools.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring integration on field and installation of the complete system within Mainline and Urban (M&U) Trackside Signaling scope

  • Ensuring the application of EHS policies, local regulations, and professional standards

  • Managing and organizing site activities, including site facilities, resources planning, site access, and tools

  • Overseeing installation works for all sub-systems and system equipment, ensuring performance, monitoring, and leadership

  • Reporting on the progress of document deliveries as per schedule

  • Identifying and reporting on issues related to documents and drawings delivered by internal teams and subcontractors

  • Performing site surveys during both preparation and execution phases (if necessary)

  • Proposing updates and improvements to the Installation Engineering processes, tools, and reference libraries

  • Professional Building Qualification in the Railway Engineering Specialty – Authorization to manage works related to railway signaling and traffic control systems

  • Strong experience in railway site management

  • Extensive knowledge of railway products and services across different market segments (Urban, Mainline, Freight & Mining)

  • Production experience in design, drafting, or engineering (Project and/or construction experience appreciated)

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to act as an interface manager with internal staff, team members, and subcontractors

  • Analytical thinking, solution focus, and resilience

  • Ability to adapt, influence, and negotiate

  • Decision-making and problem-solving abilities

  • Familiarity with design-build complex projects, tendering, engineering, sourcing, supply chain, and quality processes
