Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your safety assurance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, contributing to the successful delivery of projects and product introductions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and product development), develop safety plans, conduct safety risk activities, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:

Performing activities related to safety assurance on projects and programs
-
Acting as Safety Assurance Manager (SAM) on projects/schemes under mentorship or supporting a SAM on larger/complex projects

Supporting the Engineering Safety Management Lifecycle to ensure compliance with the Common Safety Method for Risk Evaluation and Assessment and CENELEC Standards

Developing Safety Plans for projects and products
-
Applying safety assurance methodologies (e.g., risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification, and validation) defined for the project/system/product
-
Conducting project hazard analysis and safety risk activities
-
Organizing and attending periodic Safety Reviews
-
Managing Hazard Logs/Records, including mitigation and closure

Developing safety cases and safety justification reports
-
Supporting Work Package Management, including planning, program maintenance, cost forecasting, and project-related KPIs

Degree in Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field

Experience or understanding of safety assurance processes, risk evaluation, and assessment methodologies (e.g., CSM-REA)

Knowledge of CENELEC Standards and Engineering Safety Management Lifecycles

Familiarity with safety case development, hazard analysis, and mitigation processes

Strong communication and report-writing skills to support safety justification and documentation

Ability to manage work packages, including planning, cost forecasting, and KPI tracking
-
Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail

Resilience and adaptability to respond effectively to changing project requirements

Experience in organizing and attending safety reviews and project meetings

Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on safety standards and methodologies
