Could you be the full-time Railway Signalling Systems Design Manager in Katowice we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your railway traffic control system expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Wojciech (Specific Applications Department Head) and work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.

You'll contribute to green mobility transformation. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (System Design, Project Engineering Management, Verification & Validation, Safety), cooperate with stakeholders from the Railway Industry and much more.

 

You’ll specifically take care of Expertise in range of Project Application documents and Team Management, but also Project System level documents.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Expertise in Signaling Project and System Design
  • Building and managing a design team specialized in:
    •  Preparing technical projects and development of project documentation for railway traffic control devices and systems;
    • Participating in tender procedures for the preparation of projects, which are the basis for estimation;
    • Verifying and controlling railway traffic control device designs for compliance with regulations and customer requirements
    • Conducting necessary internal arrangements, with clients and external institutions;
    • Updating technical documentation of devices and systems;
  • Collaborating with industry designers;

  • Higher technical education (ideally: transport - rail traffic control, electrical engineering or related);
  • Building license with railway traffic control specialization;
  • Leadership skills. Experience in managing a team.
  • Knowledge of railway regulations and instructions;
  • Knowledge of notions related to ERTMS/ETCS;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing railway traffic control;
  • Knowledge of CAD software;
  • Knowledge of the English language at the level of full professional proficiency;
  • Communication skills and ability to work in a team;
