Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, detail-oriented, and collaborative teammates. You'll ensure the support for experienced T&C Lead Testers on field and you'll lead projects independently. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Field Operations), attending to meetings, scheduling and much more.

 

Main resposibilities:

 

  • Pro-actively manages internal interfaces with project engineering, installation and external technical interfaces with Partners, Third Parties and Customers for T&C activities
  • Supporting T&C group manager during the bid phase
  • Deploys T&C process on the field and make sure it is applied by the T&C team within the project
  • Delivers T&C plans, procedures, method statements and coordinates staffing and training of the T&C team
  • Prepares and manages Test & Commissioning works on field – Material and tools, documentation, people, access, logistics…
  • Ensures the EHS compliance (Zero deviation), reports and anticipates issues
  • Manages the tools and organize accurate calibration
  • Anticipates issues and reports / alerts on a regular basis to the RC TCM and to the PM on progress, issues and risks on the project (EHS, T&C work, System delivery…)
  • Ensures that all design related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including the defect description and associated test context
  • Monitors/manages QCD performance delivery (including EHS and Railway safety) of the work package T&C as per customer and solution / system requirements
  • Issues the REX on T&C activities, and propose update / improvement of the T&C way of working / process / tools and the T&C Reference Library to optimize T&C performance

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or other technical discipline
  • Good knowledge of English language
  • Experience or understanding of train control systems and signaling products
  • Knowledge of electronics/electrical systems and test equipment
  • Familiarity with safety standards and testing procedures
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for problem identification and resolution
  • Driving license
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to fulfill the role of interface manager toward both customers and partners
