Could you be the full-time Product Catalogue Manager in Katowice we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your analytical expertise in a dynamic, global environment. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.

 

You'll play a key role in managing the Alstom Product Catalogue, ensuring cost accuracy and consistency, and influencing strategic business decisions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (BIDS, Finance, Product Management, Procurement, Production, and Central Functions), conduct cost analyses, and support operational decision-making.

 

You’ll specifically take care of preparing and maintaining cost estimates for new and existing products, but also perform cost simulations and analyses to identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing the D&IS Katowice Alstom Product Catalogue to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Preparing and maintaining cost estimates for products

  • Analyzing offers, specifications, and technical documentation to translate requirements into accurate costings

  • Conducting Make-or-Buy analyses to support decision-making

  • Performing product and manufacturing cost simulations

  • Monitoring and analyzing cost data to identify variances, risks, and trends

  • Identifying cost reduction opportunities through detailed analysis

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of cost monitoring systems

  • Collaborating with global teams to deliver cost-related activities

  • Maintaining data accuracy in SAP ERP systems

  • Higher education degree, preferably in Engineering
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders, present data clearly, and argue points effectively
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills

  • Good command of Polish & English, both written and spoken

  • Experience working with SAP (an advantage)
