Could you be the full-time hybrid Procurement Tender Manager in Katowice, PL we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside driven, collaborative, and strategic-thinking teammates. You'll build robust and competitive tender procurement costs, scope, and schedule commitments that will significantly contribute to Alstom's success. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Tender teams, Procurement Platform Directors, and Procurement Project Managers), manage product procurement references to prepare tenders, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Regular extraction of ERP data to assess product competitiveness and liaise with Project Procurement/Material Managers,
- Consistency checks with Procurement Platform Teams to ensure alignment with regional market expectations and contributions to competitiveness,
- Leading pre-tendering activities and building product cost references for key tenders,
- Coordination and consolidation of sourcing activities to ensure performance and efficiency throughout the entire tender process,
- Defining and implementing tender procurement strategies and managing the construction of commitments with the sourcing community.
- Building the costing based on the formal TPP (Tender Procurement Plan, standard tool to be used to build the whole sourcing commitment)
- Proposing committed savings and risk registers, including mitigation plans, in collaboration with tender teams,
- Leading competitiveness reviews with management and presenting procurement tender QCD commitments for validation,
- Ensuring auditability and recording of procurement tender commitments and improvement plans,
- Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

- Master's degree in a purchasing-related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a procurement role
- Experience or understanding of technical fields and procurement processes,
- Knowledge of ERP systems and material cost management,
- Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with project management and sourcing strategies,
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit,
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and challenge the status quo,
- Results-oriented with a rigorous and structured approach,
- An international mindset and fluency in English,
- Commitment to ethical conduct and adherence to the Alstom Code of Ethics
