Could you be the full-time Method Engineer in Katowice we’re looking for? 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your industrial expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the successful industrialization of signalling products developed in Poland. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, manage industrial processes for mechanical products, and contribute to product competitiveness through cost optimization, lead time reduction, and quality improvement.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Providing technological supervision and support for Sheet Metal Processing and Paint Shop operations.
  • Managing and monitoring the special process of painting to ensure compliance with customer, quality, and process requirements.
  • Developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes related to sheet metal fabrication and painting operations.
  • Supporting production processes performed on laser punching/cutting machines and bending machine.
  • Creating and optimizing CNC programs for laser punching/cutting machines and bending machine.
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating manufacturing routings and process data in SAP.
  • Defining material requirements, bill-of-material parameters, and material consumption standards.
  • Reviewing production schedules, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Analyzing technical documentation and drawings to evaluate manufacturability and production feasibility (DFM).
  • Developing robust manufacturing concepts to improve efficiency, quality, and process stability.
  • Analyzing and improving existing manufacturing systems and processes by identifying value-added and non-value-added activities.
  • Preparing work instructions, process descriptions, operator guides, and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Supporting production cost estimation through preparation of material requirements and process-related cost analyses.
  • Identifying opportunities to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and reduce manufacturing inefficiencies.
  • Training and supporting production personnel in new technologies, processes, and working methods.
  • Cooperating with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure process performance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications within sheet metal and painting processes.
  • Leading and participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing and special processes.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 2-5 years of Industrial Engineering experience
  • Ability to work independently or in a cross functional environment
  • Very good English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitasking
  • Strong CAD capabilities: Solid Edge, AutoCAD
