Purpose of the job

To manage configuration item versioning, baselining, releases, and deliveries in a continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI / CD) environment. The CM shall ensure that configuration and change management processes and principles are adopted across the organization. The CM shall contribute to further developing existing processes and automation solutions, retrieving KPIs, and migrating from legacy environments. The position allows a hybrid work model.


Key responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the Configuration Management Plan, Document Plan, and Release Plan. Co-ordinate the CM activities for projects throughout the life cycle
  • Supervise Requirement deliveries and assist in baselining / release work. Ensure working environment with Rational toolset for the entire team
  • Effective operation of configuration and change management process, tools, policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supervise deliveries and assist in release work. Perform activities concerning the document baseline work for validation releases. Release Management, set and change release states for configuration objects
  • Drive changes related to the CM process and tools. Organize and chair Change Control Board meetings. Support the automation of CM-related processes and steps in different tools


Qualifications & Functional Knowledge

  • Bachelor or Master degree (preferably in Computer Science or equivalent)
  • Experience in Change Management or Business Process Analysis and Product Lifecycle
  • General hardware knowledge (computers, network devices, server cabinets components, etc.)
  • Hands-on mentality and proactiveness, drive for efficiency
  • Structured and independent working approach, analytical skillset
  • Ability to effectively communicate & influence dedicated teams 
  • Ideally, exposure to tools: IBM Rational - CM Synergy & Change Synergy, Hydra, DOORS, RTC
  • Ideally, extensive documentation experience (document quality, references)
  • English skills allowing both verbal and written business communication are required
