Could you be the full-time Application Support Service Delivery Specialist in Katowice we’re looking for?

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your application support expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Philippe (Region Local Operations based in Charleroi), and work alongside to ensure operation activities management for some local applications (Europe scope) inside a multicultural team, participation to main central projects impacting the region, establish/maintain relationships with end users and service partners/providers.

You’ll specifically take care of global and local projects (Windows upgrades, Move2Cloud, Security, Digital Platforms applications roll-out, Landscape Harmonization Program)., execute support/maintenance activities in coordination with external suppliers and Alstom teams (Respects the end to end SLA, Executes the level 2 and level 3 support, …) and much more.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Delivers expertise in problem management and crisis management
  • Performs sanity check, contribute to the strategy of versions management
  • Creates and maintains application documentation in accordance with standards and the Portfolio update and stays up to date on current technical trends in the related domain or supported solutions
  • Participates to Optimize and Rationalize the local applications portfolio: number of applications and Total Cost of Ownership
  • Ensures availability and performance for applications in production at optimized costs according to the Business needs and Alstom strategy, manages budget in his scope including license’s optimalization and maintenance consumption
  • Validates integration testing, improve and enhance testing repository

  • Bachelor or Master Degree (preferably in Computer Science or equivalent) 
  • Experience or understanding of information technology, experience in application management is a plus
  • Knowledge of several business domains
  • Familiarity with the project management processes.
  • ITIL certification.
