Purpose of the Job:

  • Obtain and maintain vehicle(s) regulatory certifications and/or authorisations
  • Ensure awareness for authorisation stakes and requirements in assigned project teams

Required skills & competencies

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physical Sciences or others
  • Fluent in English, optionally skills in German language
  • Good Entrepreneurship
  • Very good agility and collaboration and communication
  • Cultural intelligence
  • Dynamic, proactive and autonomy
  • Flexible, Willingness to travel for project needs

         Key Accountabilities

  • You are member of the project core team and you actively contribute to deliverables for other functions/members and to problem solving strategies
  • You define Certification & Authorisation KPIs and report on the activities progress
  • You obtain the necessary authorisation to run tests on open tracks/public network
  • You actively participate in the selection process of independent assessors (e.g. Notified Body, Designated Body)
  • You plan and consolidate the evidence files to be submitted to independent assessors and relevant authoritising entities
  • You transfer strategies to external and internal stakeholders 
  • You provide Certification & Authorisation expertise within Alstom organisation
