Could you be the full-time Head of Quality (f/m/d) in Kassel we’re looking for?


Your Future Role
More than 35,000 locomotives have already travelled the world from Kassel. At Alstom's traditional site in Kassel, in addition to new construction, service for the well-known Traxx locomotive platform is playing an increasingly important role. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. 


You’ll report to Céline Grivel (Head of Quality for the cluster Loco & compo in DACH) and lead a dedicated team of more than 30 employees. You’ll be part of the site management team in the lead of Thomas Rendler (Site Managing Director Kassel).  


We’ll look for you to :
•    Lead, manage, and develop quality teams with the use of quality processes, expertise, and APSYS. 
•    Deploy quality policy to the management committee of the Site. 
•    Develop a quality culture and a "right first time" approach. 
•    Take responsibility for quality and safety assessment of products and services delivered in line with the contractual quality requirements. 
•    Increase customer satisfaction through periodic meetings, customer surveys, and product delivery controls. 
•    Manage and escalate top safety and customer issues. 
•    Ensure consistency of QCD objectives, contractual and regulatory obligations applicable to the projects. 
•    Drive continuous improvement plans to analyze and reduce CTQ objectives such as CONQ, NCR, safety issues, and demerit. 
•    Ensure that DFQ gate reviews and supplier FAI are done in a timely manner, including waiver when required. 
•    Deploy standard tools and indicators while contributing to their improvement. 
•    Ensure process governance, risk and opportunity management with site interested parties. Evaluate quality performance in each process through internal audits. 
•    Ensure the latest update about QMS Reference materials, using REX process regularly. 
•    Ensure site QMS conformance with Alstom standards, customer standards, and ISO9001/IRIS requirements/CMMI/ECM.

•    Master degree in Engineering, General Management or Quality Management
•    Experience in Quality, project and operation.
•    Knowledge of rail industry
•    Familiar with managing Quality tools and problem solving tools
•    Fluent in English and German

•    Undeniable knowledge and understanding of quality processes
•    Natural flair for problem-solving.
