Fleet Engineer (m/f/d) for our location in Kassel, Germany

 

We are currently looking to recruit a Fleet Engineer for our team located in Kassel, Germany.

As a Fleet Engineer you will provide technical leadership in the engineering development core team coordinating complex international projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Definition of accident repair programs for TRAXX locomotives.
  • Development of a systematic FRACAS process
  • Cooperation with RAMS/LCC of the Product Engine LOC
  • Continuous development of maintenance programs and processing of technical

               Problems in the context of maintenance based on the FRACAS process

  • Cost analyses regarding the implementation of design and maintenance plan optimization
  •  Inclusion of obsolescence topics in TRAXX vehicles.
  • Analysis and further development of maintenance programs after the end of the warranty in compliance with relevant standards and norms (e.B. DIN 27200 ff, ERA, TSI Operations, ECM)
  • Continuous tracking of vehicle software status or software changes, including

               Development of service packages for retrofitting on vehicles of older construction date

  • Participation in the implementation of CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) on all vehicles.

 

Qualifications:

  • Relevant academic background, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in profitability law is an advantage
  • Desired competencies: customer orientation, communication, team player, drive for results, problem solving.
  • Good documentation and presentation skills using MS Office tools
  • Fluent in English and German
