Bombela Maintenance is looking to recruit 1 x Technician.

The purpose of this postition is to ensure safe, reliable and available trains as per customer requirements, primarily through preventative maintenance and repairs

This role will be based at the Gautrain Maintenance Depot in Midrand, Johannesburg. 

YOUR ROLE:

• Ensure compliance to safety, quality assurance and improvements.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance.
• Assist with Corrective Maintenance when required.
• Accurate MAXIMO and GSI administration and reporting.
• Correct use of Materials, tools and equipment.
• Effective team work and self-management.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Electrical Engineering National Diploma or related Trade Test
• 1-2 Years experience
• Good computer system diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of Act 85 of Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Knowledge of Maintenance Systems and Processes
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagram
• Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Electronics knowledge will be an advantage
• Ability to work shifts
