Gibela stands as Africa’s largest train manufacturing and passenger trains maintenance company, holding steadfast to its commitment to spearheading the revival of the South African railway sector. We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for a 24 months Graduate Programme under Services. The position will report Maintenance Documentation Manager and is based at Midrand.

 

 

 

 

Job Purpose

The programme offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills in the transport rail manufacturing industry. Participants will experience a dynamic and challenging work environment, collaborating with various teams across the organization. The role includes servicing and maintaining high‑quality products, as well as supporting the monitoring of compliance with Gibela’s requirements and standards.

 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Documentation Support: LCC, BOM, Regime update.
  • Documentation Support: Maintenance Engineering activity: Raising issues for CCB, tracking change requests and documentation support on illustrations
  • Document Writing: Support in Authoring work Instructions
  • Maintenance Bom Analysis

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements
  • National Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics
  • B-Tech/Advanced Diploma/BEngTech: will be advantageous
  • No previous work experience
  • South African citizen between 18 and 35 years of age
  • Excellent communicate skills in English
  • MS Office literate
