We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for Logistics Coordinator position under the Motors Manufacturing Department. The position will report to Warehouse Supervisor and is based in Dunnottar, Nigel (Gauteng).

 

Job Purpose

Execution of material handling and processing activities including related documentation and safe storage, receiving and delivery of goods to the appropriate storage location/plant and general housekeeping of all logistics operational areas.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with procurement on planned and scheduled deliveries for alignment.
  • Inbound goods entry execution/posting, tracking & reporting.
  • Transfer posting & confirmation for warehouse binning.
  • Bin master data maintenance & modification.
  • Daily throughput reporting to management for all inbound & outbound movements.
  • View & report on daily/weekly planned production orders for picking & line feeding.
  • Execute the conversion of transfer requests to transfer orders.
  • Transfer posting & confirmation for outbound issuing.
  • Assist with inventory investigations/analysis & reporting.
  • Transfer posting & confirmation for outbound issuing.
  • Liaise with procurement on missing items & oversee line feeding of items.
  • Participate in applicable continuous improvement initiatives for motor.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12.
  • Relevant Undergraduate Qualification in Supply Chain.
  • Must have SAP (Warehouse Module) working experience.
  • Solid previous experience in Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures.
  • Previous experience in Methods of receiving, binning, picking and issuing of materials.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations, procedures, equipment and terminology.
  • Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies working knowledge.
  • Ability working with record-keeping techniques.
  • Inventory methods and practices previous experience.
  • Previously worked on the Warehouse Management System (GSI).
