Could you be the full-time onsite Saudi National EHS Project Engineer in AlUla, SA we’re looking for?
Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your specialized EHS expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, professional, and collaborative teammates. You'll support the Project EHS Manager in spearheading initiatives that significantly reduce environmental impact and enhance employee safety. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as operations, construction, and compliance teams), assist in the development and maintenance of the Site EHS Management System, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Support Project EHS manager for EHS topics,
-
Cooperate with internal resources to achieve EHS objectives,
-
Support the Project EHS Manager to prepare, implement, and maintain emergency plans,
-
Assist Project EHS Manager to coordinate and control EHS activities, particularly with other contractors or operational areas,
-
Provide support and advice to site personnel to prevent injury, damage to plant and equipment, fire, environmental pollution,
-
Recognize best practices and good performance, and react to violations of regulations and Alstom Standards,
-
Support the Project EHS Manager to develop, deploy and maintain local procedures and tools in alignment with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001),
-
Assist the Project EHS Manager to ensure Alstom EHS standards and tools are deployed at Site level,
-
Perform EHS legal compliance checks for specific requirements

Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field,

Knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance requirements,

Experience or understanding of EHS practices in a project environment,

Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards,
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,

Ability to conduct risk assessments and define control measures
