The Operations Center Manager is responsible for oversight & managing a shift of employees that

include supervisors, professionals and union represented employees. Responsible to direct &

manage activities associated with Automatic Train Control that includes power distribution, automatic

and manual train movement that transport passengers and for maintenance assignments, overseee

planning process, coordination and preparation of all permits requiring guideway access coordinating

all the departments in a safe and efficient manner. Review and approve project work method

statements and test plans. The Control Center Manager evaluates employee performance and

enforces Company policies.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Management - Develop objectives and evaluate employees’ performance against objectives. Create a challenging and supportive work environment that inspires safety, commitment and teamwork. 25%

Decision Making - Evaluate train operation schedules and maintenance assignments and make decisions that optimize performance, meets objectives and provides customer satisfaction. 25%

Team Leadership - Demonstrates leadership with sound business ethics, consistently act and behave in ways that inspire confidence and credibility that you are aligned with Company Values and Objectives. Communicate a compelling vision, takes care of the Team, keeps Team well informed, and positions self as a leader in the Organization. 25%

Safety – Enforce safety policies and procedures. Conduct audits, collaborate with employees to conduct risks assessments, monitor and evaluate safety performance and educate employees to adhere to safety rule. 25%

 

Qualifications & Functional Knowledge: 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of Control Center Operations experience and 3 years of supervisory experience.

Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role

· Automatic Train Control, Power Distribution, SCADA Operations, Access Control,

MAXIMO, Microsoft Project, and Rapid Response.

 

Salary Range - Min $85,300 to Max $158,500
