Purpose of the job

The T&C and Service BID Leader is responsible to provide to the BID team of AMECA (Africa, Middle East, Western and Central Asia) Sig & Infra, as Work Package Owner,  the costs estimations and technical  support during tenders of the Test and Commissioning, Warranty and Maintenance scope of work. This must be achieved following tender strategy, company policies (including EHS, railway safety, local regulation and professional standard) and QCD targets.

 

The T&C and Service BID Leader is expected to be

  • technically prepared and able to share and explain the strategy and assumption with clear and effective communication.
  • very good at figures / data

 

Key Accountabilities

The T&C and Service Bid Leader is responsible, by delegation of the AMECA T&C and Service Director, to:

  • define the strategy to be applied for T&C, Warranty and Maintenance scope.
  • plan the activities with the level of detail requested by the tender in accordance with the other stakeholders
  • check the compliance with the requirements of the tender. 
  • prepare and deliver the necessary documentation in case it is requested (T&C plan, Warranty Plan, Maintenance Plan, Migration Plan, etc.)
  • Lead or participate in technical discussions with the other stakeholders of the bid
  • Report on a regular basis to the AMECA T&C and Service Director on progress and issues

 

Educational Requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience.
  • Good knowledge of English language (read, written, spoken)
  • Good communication and team work skills
  • Any other additional language is an asset

 

Experience

  • Multiple years of experience in T&C and Service activities for Signaling or Infra projects
  • Knowledge of Planning, Workload and Costs estimation, EHS and Railway safety

 

Competencies & Skills

  • Able to communicate in an open and clear manner with various stakeholders
  • Flexibility and mobility, available for short or long mission in different locations and countries
  • Rigorous & team player
  • Resilience, with an analytic way of thinking in order to solve complex system failures
  • Ability to use new technologies and tools

 

Miscellaneous

  • Mobility: yes but limited, for Business Trips all over AMECAS region and its countries, plus France (as company HQ)
  • Data: good at numbers, data analysis and data crunching
  • Tools: proficient with MS EXCEL, MS PROJECT, MS POWER POINT
  • Preffered location is Istanbul in Turkey, but to be confirmed based alos on the current location of the identified candidate.
