Could you be the full-time Supplier Product Quality Development (SPQD) Manager in Istanbul we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your supplier quality management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, proactive, and results-driven teammates.
You'll ensure the successful deployment of Supplier Quality Assurance requirements in product and process development for purchased parts, while leading and supporting problem-solving initiatives for escalated warranty issues. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across procurement, quality, engineering, and projects, manage SPQD engineers, and drive supplier development activities, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of ensuring the delivery of project quality activities for critical purchased parts, but also manage the SPQD team to align with global and regional strategies.
We’ll look to you for:

Ensuring the application of the Development for Quality (DFQ) process for purchased parts and validating key milestones.

Driving risk identification and mitigation during supplier selection phases.

Managing and developing the SPQD team by assigning activities, consolidating workloads, and preparing training plans.

Developing and deploying new SPQD hubs in the region as needed.

Leading supplier escalation processes and contributing to issue resolution.

Organizing the collection and implementation of Return on Experience (RoE) insights.

Ensuring compliance with safety and HSE regulations across all activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or equivalent (Master’s degree is a plus).

Familiarity with supplier qualification standards (ISO, ASME, IRIS, etc.).

Proficiency in managing budgets and supplier invoices.

Experience in supplier relationship management and quality tools (e.g., PFMEA, control plans, 8D).

Competency in SAP or similar systems and preparing KPIs and presentations.
-
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills, including remote management.

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Experience in the manufacturing industry, quality roles, or project management (minimum of 5 years).

Proactive mindset with the ability to train and develop teams.
