Could you be the full-time Senior Accountant Specialist in Istanbul we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your financial expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, tax compliance, and adherence to internal controls. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (finance, IT, and external audit teams), support internal and external audits, and contribute to process standardization and improvement initiatives.
You’ll specifically take care of preparing monthly and annual financial closing activities under Local GAAP and IFRS, but also ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
We’ll look to you for:

Preparing monthly and annual closing activities under Local GAAP and IFRS, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness

Maintaining and monitoring general ledger accounts to ensure accurate and timely posting of accounting entries

Preparing financial statements in compliance with local statutory and group reporting requirements

Managing and reconciling intercompany transactions

Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to internal and external customers

Preparing and coordinating the filing of corporate income tax (CIT) returns and other applicable taxes

Supporting internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests

Collaborating with IT teams to maintain and enhance accounting systems and tools

Contributing to process standardization and efficiency improvements across accounting and tax activities

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

5–7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment

Experience in a Big Four (or similar large audit firm) is a plus

Strong knowledge of Local GAAP and IFRS

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data analysis

Good command of English (written and spoken)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
