Could you be the full-time Sales & Business Development Manager - Services in Istanbul we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic planning and sales expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening customer relationships to propel Alstom’s short-cycle services portfolio to new heights. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Customer Directors, Product Line Services, Engineering, and Marketing & Portfolio teams), develop and implement sales strategies, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of creating demand for Alstom’s products and services by identifying customer needs and aligning them with our innovative solutions, but also ensuring smooth transitions to project teams upon contract awards.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.

  • Building strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster customer intimacy.

  • Conducting market analysis to identify potential clients and opportunities.

  • Promoting Alstom’s service solutions, including Parts & Overhaul, Asset Life Management, and Digital Solutions.

  • Driving customer meetings, negotiations, and influencing bids through proactive commercial development.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to align solutions with customer needs and market trends.

  • Graduate degree in Engineering or Business field (Master’s degree is a plus).

  • Proven experience in sales and business development.

  • Strong understanding of market trends and competitive landscapes.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software.

  • Recognised technical background in rolling stock maintenance and operation (desirable).

  • Experience in sales of digital solutions and co-creation sales approaches (desirable).
