Purpose of the Job

 

  • To assist/support Turkey Finance Director and Sig. & Infra. Organization for the overall financial control of the projects
  • To partner with the Project Manager and the different Work package Owner in the controlling/financial management of their budget
  • To coordinate and supervise the On-Shore / Off-Shore project controlling

 

The job will report hierarchically to the Turkey Finance Director and functionally to the different Project Manager.

 

 

Responsibilities & Objectives

 

  • Consistently propose innovative ideas to improve the project KPIs (Sales / Margin / Cash) to the Project Manager
  • Accurately prepare the Project Review twice a year
  • Review regularly and ensure the accuracy and consistency of all financials KPIs of the projects (Sales, Estimate at Completion, Cash Collection…) in close relationship with other operational and support functions
  • Contribute to monthly project reporting process (monthly reviews of actuals vs. Budget, short-term re-forecasting…)
  • Drive the Shared Service Center to ensure proper, accurate, and consistent finance reporting
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis when requested
  • Ensure that all financial processes and internal controls, including DoA, are implemented, robust and compliant related to the field of activity
  • Liaise when needed with related accounting teams for the accuracy of the actual and cost to complete data and for the invoicing process
  • Drive the cash collection process in collaboration with the Commercial and Project Management team and in adequation with the cash delivery plan
  • Participate in hedging and treasury processes (bonds & guarantees…).
  • Support Tender activity when needed

 

Qualifications / Key requirements

  • Bachelors's / Master's degree in Finance
  • More than 10 years of experience in finance and finance business partnering roles
  • Experience in the Transportation/Construction sector is a plus
  • Fluent in English & Turkish, both written and spoken, French is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to respond under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to perform in a multinational and complex environment, create and manage network and connections with global organizations, and various stakeholders.
  • Experience in Budget and performance controlling
  • Ability to present and communicate with senior management
