Purpose of the Job

  • Manage the Depot Equipment design Activities.
  • Technical support for Sub System Manager (SSM), Sourcing and System Entity

Position in the Organization / Organisation Reporting

Hierarchical: Reports to the AMECA E&M Engineering Manager

Functional: Subsystem Project Manager

  • SSM , Sourcing, Project Manager, System, Customer, Suppliers

Performance Measurement/KPI’s

  • Respect of the deliverable time schedule.
  • Respect of QCD Work Packages Workload management.
  • Regular reporting to the management and alert in case of issue affecting the performance and the cost
  • Approving Preliminary design for projects on Due time.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Engineering degree on Mechanical or Mechatronic department.
  • Expertise of Depot equipment design, maintenance and Technical documentation submissions.
  • Expertise about different depot equipment and other systems interfaces.
  • Have a technical curiosity and able to discuss with the project team, suppliers and 3rd parties about technical subjects.
  • Expertise on technical specifications and the related technical documentations.
  • Familier with the Quality V cycle principle and list of documents to be issued per design phases (Preliminary / Detailed / Construction / As-Built design).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the engineer and CAD operator of the depot Equipment team.
  • Ensuring coordination with the local team of the project, suppliers and client.
  • Prepare and Review the elaboration of the technical specification of the maintenance equipment.
  • Participating to the business award for suppliers.
  • Prepare and conduct different quality gate reviews.
  • Performing reporting at project level (via weekly meeting) and metier level (via weekly reports)
  • Providing Return of experience to be implemented in Reference Solutions.

Knowledge & Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Depot Design.
  • General mechanical and electrical competencies
  • Conflict management and interpersonal skills
  • Software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Autocad
  • Very good English Skills (speaking, reading and writing)
