MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

 

  • Collaborate with region Procurement and Quality teams to improve the quality performance of the suppliers with-in AMECA (Africa, Middle East, Central Asia) region
  • Audit suppliers for Generic and Special Processes as per yearly audit plan. Support, guide and follow up suppliers to close actions on time
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure the deployment of Supplier Development (SD) strategy and provide consolidated view of supplier Panel’s Quality performance & maturity
  • Analyze quality performance of suppliers
  • Be in close contact with multinational counterparts and teams indifferent countries in the region and in Europe
  • Define, deploy and execute supplier development initiatives to selected key supplies in the region
  • Frequently visit suppliers to guide and support development activities

 

Frequent domestic and international travels required for the position(minimum 60% of the time) – Domestic (mainly, Istanbul, Bursa, Kocaeli, Sakarya and Ankara) and international (mainly, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Kazakhstan and South Africa)

 

Location: Istanbul or Ankara Office

 

Education

 

Mandatory :

  • Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical and Materials or Aerospace Engineering degree

 

Desirable:

  • Engineering Master’s Degree
  • Quality Management Master’s Degree

 

Experience

 

Mandatory:

  • 5-10 years of experience in Industry with position such as Quality, Production, Engineering or equivalent
  • Quality tools experience (e.g. FMEA, Control Plan, 8D, QRQC, root cause analysis, problem solving, risk management)
  • Manufacturing processes knowledge
  • Experience in managing global suppliers
  • Experience in international and multi-cultural work environment

 

Desirable:

  • Mass production industries (e.g. railway, aerospace, automotive)
  • Sheet Metal Work and/or Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) commodity knowledge
  • Supplier Development
  • Supplier Quality
  • Supplier Audits
  • Lean manufacturing & six sigma methodologies
  • Knowledge of IRIS Standard requirements
  • Knowledge of QMS/EHS/SAFETY
