Responsibilities

Techical Missions:

Accountable for:

• Perform the 3rd rail  (Conductor Rail ) basic engineering activities of a project or program:

• Provide Conductor Rail principle drawings,
• Tech Specs of Conductor Rail (System and components )
• List of Conductor Rail special tools and spare parts.

• Support  the TW basic engineering activities of a project or program:

• Provide TW general arrangements, technical specifications, layout rules, earthing and bonding (E&B) principles,3rd Rail  general arrangements, technical specifications, layouts and equipment docs.
• interfaces specifications
• Ensure the technical validation of the supplier’s equipment offers

• Assist the TW design Leader for coordination / interfaces with:

• The TW engineering team,
• The others sub-systems of the project, particularly: 3rd Rail
• The customer,
• The project management team,
• The suppliers, the subcontractors, and the partners, 3rd Rail supplier team.

• Provide technical support to 3rd Rail Field Operations (Construction and Test and Commissioning) teams with regards to design issues.
• Participate (if requested) to the As-built documentation drawings modifications.
• Participate to the REX (Return of Experience) of the project/program.

Knowledge & Experience :
Educational : Graduate from Engineering school in preferred mechanics. Civil science also is acceptable.

A minimum of two-three years of experience within a railway engineering department
Knowledge of 3rd Rail, TW equipments

Geotechnical and/or structural calculation knowledgeas well as track alignment knowledge
Computering skills : Microsoft Office pack and AutoCAD (Civil 3D is preferred)

Behavioural and Technical Skills:
Good team spirit and communication skills

Initiatives, self-motivated for technical matters and speed learning
