Position in the organization:

Métier family: Engineering

• Hierarchically, reports directly to:  Train System metier leader
• Functionally, reports to: Project Engineering Manager (PrEM)
• Direct functional report: NA
• Network & link: PrEM, TxE, SE, Experts, SSE, PrRAMS, Project Manager, Sourcing, PrWM, Customer.

Accountabilities & Authorities:

Technical Accountable:

• The global train performances and architecture choice
• Requirement analysis and synthesis and Operational analysis
• Functional analysis and specification,
• To ensure consistency and compatibility between all the sub-systems specifications – Interface Management
• For the applicable train configuration.

Technical Responsible:

• Technical interface with customer during the design and validation phase(s).
• Arbitrate on architecture definition between the subsystems to reach the best compromise at train level

Accountable for QCD and Reporting:

• Supports Project Engineering Manager for implementation and update of Engineering risks mitigation plan
• Supports to Project Engineering Manager in improvement proposals in term of QCD and during the change order process.
• Perform reporting at project level (to PrEM) and at metier level (TS dashboard)

Missions

• KPIs monitored through TS Dashboard, mainly:
• OTIF
• On-Time Design Reviews
• Gate Review Go on Time (as a project management core team member)
• Change and Configuration Management
