Could you be the full-time Mechanical Project Engineer in our dynamic team based in [LOCATION] we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive mechanical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative and solution-oriented teammates.
You'll be pivotal in performing project Mechanical Domain activities in strict adherence to QCD commitments. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Design, Sourcing, Industrialization, Manufacturing), managing the production of deliverables and ensuring their quality and acceptance by customers, both internal and external, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining mechanical requirements and interfaces, monitoring the conformity of Mechanical Sub-Systems, and managing risk mitigation plans. Additionally, you'll contribute to the continuous improvement within the Mechanical Domain.
We’ll look to you for:

Planning and piloting Mechanical Domain activities and deliverables

Ensuring the quality and acceptance of Mechanical Domain deliverables

Reporting on Mechanical Domain activities progress and managing escalations

Coordinating with stakeholders and resolving project mechanical issues

Contributing to the definition of Mechanical Domain architecture

Supporting cross-functional teams during the production phase

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience or understanding of the railway industry, with a preference for 2 to 3 years of relevant experience

Proficient knowledge of CAD tools such as Catia V5 and PLM tools

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including with external parties like customers

Effective time management and reporting skills

A proactive mindset with a sense of urgency and priority

Customer & Product focus with a structured and hands-on approach

Operational proficiency in English for reading, writing, and technical meetings
