Could you be the full-time Mechanical Domain Manager in our dynamic [LOCATION] team we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive Mechanical Engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and innovative teammates.
You'll lead the charge in managing Mechanical Domain resources, activities, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with our commitments to Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Design, Production, Sourcing), orchestrating activities and ensuring the high quality of deliverables, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining mechanical requirements and interfaces, monitoring subsystem deliveries, and ensuring alignment with project needs, but also managing risk and mitigation planning.
We’ll look to you for:

Ensuring Mechanical Domain activities comply with QCD commitments

Guiding the planning and piloting of Mechanical Domain activities and deliverables
-
Maintaining the quality of Mechanical Domain deliverables and securing customer acceptance
-
Reporting on progress and escalating issues that may impact QCD commitments
-
Coordinating Mechanical Domain contributors on projects
-
Analysing and consolidating change request impacts on Mechanical Domain scope

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field

Experience or understanding of railway products and project management

Knowledge of CAD tools such as Catia V5 and PLM tools

Familiarity with configuration management and quality assurance processes

Proven communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks

An operational command of English in reading, writing, and technical meetings
