Could you be the full-time Mechanical Design Engineer in our dynamic team located in Hyderabad we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your robust Mechanical Engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, supportive, and solution-focused teammates.
You'll contribute to the design and development of our advanced rail systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Sourcing, Industrialization, Manufacturing), manage CAD activities, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of performing detailed 3D design, annotations and 2D deliverables, but also ensuring the consistency and compliance of digital mock-ups.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) activities and deliverables within the Electrical/Mechanical Domain

Ensuring designs meet quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments, as well as metier rules and processes

Verifying digital mock-up consistency and compliance with requirements

Updating Digital Mock-Ups with change requests and conducting design quality checks

Planning and piloting Mechanical Domain activities and deliverables

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience or understanding of railway products, with 7 to 10 years in the field, preferably including 1 to 2 years specifically in rail

Proficiency in Catia V5 and Enovia

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including with third parties (customers)

Effective time management and reporting skills
-
A hands-on approach, structured and organized with a sense of urgency/priority

Operational English proficiency for reading/writing and participation in technical meetings
