Job Title: Lead Engineer Digital Mockup

 

Purpose of the Job: 

Assures End-to-End (“E2E”) consistent & fluid data-flow on Digital Mock-up and E-BOM on platform or project contract execution, between stakeholders, along project DFQ V-cycle, according Métier Rules and Standards, in multi-sites Collaborative engineering (according to PDO).

  2. Project: Industrial Lead Engineer (ILE), ILS team
  3. Site: Indus Departement, Manufacturing.

Missions

Performance Measurement/KPI’s

  1. On-time delivering (Digital Mock-Up maturity)
  2. Clash avoidance
  3. Clean Digital Mockup in DMA

 

Responsibilities

Accountable for:

  1. Ensuring proper maturity & status level (e.g : Review, Consultation, Order, Proto, Serie…) according to planning
  2. Ensuring proper positioning of the components in DMU
  3. Ensuring proper attributes filling (PDM files) and classification (for MDM E2E compliance based on UNSPSC pivot table)
  4. Ensuring correct application of DMU metholodologies.

Responsible for:

  1. Building upper appropriate product breakdown structures (ZBS, IBS, …) and performing all activities assigned to the “Architect” role in the DMU tool
  2. Synchronizing exchanges between LU, PU, TSS, Suppliers and Subcontractors along project duration, in order to maintain a consistent eBOM configuration
  3. Extracting simplified 3D DMU engineering baselines for DTDR/DMTR, resolving configuration diversity to deliver Customer’s documentation / 3D presentations and edit related maturity status KPIs

 

Contributor for :

    1. Proposing Design Optimizations (weight, cost, etc.)
    2. Supporting Manufacturing teams during Production ramp-up.
    3. Collaborating with Mechanical Domain Leaders for continuous improvement of the Metier (including RoE).

 

Knowledge & Experience

  1. Reuired to have minimum 10 years of Experience. Min 4+ years of rolling stock experience is prefered.
  2. 3D Modelling knowledge in CATIA, drawing rules and stack-up analysis.
  3. Structured and organised with Hands-on approach.
  4. Ability to visualize in space, comfortable with information systems
  5. Knowledge of Technical Data management tools
  6. Structured and organized with Hands-on approach.
  7. Good Communications.
  8. Time management and reporting skill.
  9. English basics in read/writing (level B2)
