Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and resilient teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless integration of cabin components and systems within our trains. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as engineering, project management, and manufacturing, to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of overseeing mechanical design reviews and managing the development of the cabin integration domain team, but also ensure compliance with engineering processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing the development of the cabin integration domain team to align capacity, workload, and skills

Ensuring the application of technical design rules, processes, and tools for the cabin integration domain

Collaborating effectively with other technical domains and stakeholders
-
Overseeing and validating technical design reviews and ensuring timely documentation
-
Identifying and addressing risks related to structural integrity and other key areas
-
Ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) objectives for tender and project work packages
-
Driving continuous improvement and managing Return on Experience (RoE) from previous projects
-
Applying and following up on the People Management Cycle for the cabin domain team

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

15 yrs Experience or understanding of mechanical integration, train interior and cabin parts integration

Knowledge of FRP part design and development, aluminum extruded parts design and development, and special processes

Familiarity with train mechanical architecture, interface management, crash, system engineering, materials, and project management (quality, cost, delay)
-
Fluent in English
-
Proficiency in MS Office tools

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Conflict management and resolution abilities

Customer satisfaction-oriented mindset
