Could you be the full-time Documentation Engineer in Hyderabad we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical writing and documentation expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, detail-oriented, and innovative teammates.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring that maintenance documentation aligns with ISR requirements and project standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, ISR Managers, Documentation Leads), liaise with subcontractors and equipment suppliers, and contribute to the creation and translation of German technical documents, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining and implementing maintenance documentation plans, but also managing documentation teams to deliver high-quality deliverables within QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) targets.
We’ll look to you for:

Defining maintenance documentation plans in alignment with ISR requirements

Producing maintenance documentation that meets project objectives
-
Creating and translating German technical documents as per project standards
-
Managing the maintenance documentation team to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
-
Ensuring documentation is published using Alstom’s standard methods and tools
-
Capturing and reusing feedback (REX) for continuous improvement
-
Defining and maintaining the documentation database (ILS PDM)

Engineering University Degree or equivalent

C1 Level Certification/Diploma in German Language

Experience in German technical writing and translation (minimum 3 to 5 years)

Strong knowledge of technical documentation for maintenance manuals and parts catalogues

Proficiency in HTML/XML
-
Good communication skills in both English and German
-
Attention to detail and strong decision-making abilities

Experience with Rail/Transportation domain (desirable)

Familiarity with ISR Elements such as RAMS, LORA, RCM, and LCC (desirable)
