OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Is Line Manager of the Design team
• Organize the design activities in ATS Department

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the resources and skills development of the ATS design group.
• Ensuring that the supervisory subsystem meets the needs and improvements required by projects and implementing the system
• engineering process,
• To interact with other professions (software, security, validation ...) in order to maintain the consistency of the subsystem and the
• compatibility of new needs with the existing base and to allow validation and certification of the system,
• Ensure the application of the product strategy by defining the application engineering processes and tools used by projects.
• Define and follow the design KPI for quality and progress
• Apply and contribute to improvement of the Product Development processes, methods & tools as defined by the Methods and Tools
• organization
• Attend the most critical ATS Design review of the projects and guarantee the development & integration will be as easy as possible.
• Perform REX on the design activities on project
• Ensure coordination with development and Validation teams.

Qualifications & Skills:
EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

• Strong Communication and Inter-personnel skills.
• Ability to work effectively with different people and teams of people by putting others at ease.
• Ability to work well under pressure, while maintaining effectiveness.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

• Experience in system requirements, design and deployment methods (V-cycle, SysML models, requirement analysis)
• Knowledge of the technical elements related to modern rail signalling (IP networks, XML/XSD database management)
• Strong leadership, experience in coordination of a development team;
• Preferable Experience in working with an international and multicultural environment;
• Experience in People Management experience
• Preferable Railway systems knowledge

EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET

• System Requirements Understanding and Analysis.
• Design principles
• Having references in software C++/C# development
• Knowledge of network and OPC technology
• Techno management (Technical and people management)
• 12-14 years of experience
• Language Skills: Proficient in English language
