Purpose of the Job

  • Technical support for Reliability Growth through investigations and data collection
  • Technical support for Troubleshooting in order to ensure maximum train availability

 

Responsibilities

  • She/He will be in charge ofupport any technical activity on trains during Commissioning, Validation and Certification runs and Warranty according to state-of-art and best practice
  • Provide support for field modifications
  • Contribute to Reliability Growth and Return of Experience
  • Populate relevant failure data base (FRACAS, Railsys Light,…)
  • Ensure train configuration control and relevant documentation management
  • Guarantee information flow within the depot and project team
  • Respect EHS rules and any work related processes
  • Train the other warranty team members (trouble shooters) for mechanical scope.

 

Performance Measurement

  • Reliability improvement after modification implementation
  • Customer acceptance and quality level of implemented modification
  • Technical competence and autonomy (duration of intervention)
  • Quality of failure diagnosis and relevant documentation
  • Compliance with EHS rules and work related processes

 

Knowledge & Experience

  • Technical knowledge related to rolling stock mechanical scope such as bogie, front coupler, hatch mechanism, doors,… (several years of experience - at least 5 years)
  • General railway and Product knowledge
  • Teamwork capacity
  • EHS knowledge
  • English Fluent
