Daily (AR)

Work with supplier to ensure timely submission on History Books

Ensure supplier meets the “Next Day” criteria associate with the compilation and delivery of history books and other support information.

Ensure FAI NO GO and other waiver compliance and alignment with build


Reconcile paperwork and history books to support GR and production in HOR

Ensure history books are available in HOR for GR activities.

Archive all Supplier and Alstom quality records

Weekly (AR)

Support Resident Operations Manager in completing items in the Daily Rolling Action List

As needed, support effort to address and close legacy issues from Genesis and other resident teams.

Work with HOR to develop sustainable solutions and capture of issues, ensure durable solutions, processes and workflow are set-up and long term stakeholder buy-in.


NCR and Waiver Reconciliation, Maintenance, and Closer

Ensure that all Amtrak MWS/MRU/TWS NCR, deviation requests, and waivers are managed to closer

Follow-up with stakeholder to ensure clear and concise communication of issues, facilitating decision making and problem solving.

Identify NCR and Waiver that are open and not closed for periods longer than process requires. 

Work with stakeholder to address open issues, and get desire outcomes.

Report monthly KPIs to management regarding the status (Closed, Open, Blocks, Actions)


Alstom Tooling and Assembly System Inventory and Assessment

Maintain tooling spreadsheet, with monthly updates regarding state of tooling

Determine repair, calibration, and replacement opportunities.

Coordinate with HOR and Supplier Resident Ops Mgr. to ensure tooling is maintained and calibrated in acceptable condition.


Alstom controlled tooling and instruments inventory and assessment (e.g., Toolboxes, Torque Wrenches)

Maintain Alstom controlled tooling spreadsheet, with monthly updates regarding state of tooling

Determine repair, calibration, and replacement opportunities.

Coordinate with HOR and Supplier Resident Ops Mgr. to ensure tooling is maintained in acceptable condition.
