Could you be the full-time hybrid Procurement Project Manager in Hornell, NY, US we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Varun Chhabria (Lead Procurement Project Manager), and work alongside exceptional, enthusiastic, and collaborative teammates.
You'll be creating great value as you bring your procurement, business acumen, and project management skills to aid us in our successful efforts for component/parts procurement.
You’ll specifically take care of parts procurement for components through our buyers.
We’ll look to you for:

Ensuring the proper contribution of procurement to sub-system and project stakes,
-
Organizing and leading Procurement launch meetings with key stakeholders, including Project Managers and Sub-System Managers,

Maintaining a general vision of the project’s and suppliers’ progress, identifying stakes and difficulties,
-
Defining and agreeing on corrective measures with Procurement and Sub-System Managers, and ensuring their implementation,

Managing and applying appropriate processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms for the project,
-
Driving alignment with the platform’s procurement objectives and ensuring project contributions,
-
Collaborating effectively within a matrix environment, fostering team spirit and communication.

Degree in Purchasing, Sourcing, Engineering, or other related fields,

Hands-on procurement experience in engineering/technical and project-based environments,

Knowledge of procurement processes, tools, and supplier management,

Familiarity with MS Office and SAP systems,

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team,
-
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) objectives,
-
Rigorous and structured approach to managing tasks and processes,
-
An international mindset and adaptability to work in diverse, multicultural environments.

Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $123,400
