Material Planner

 

Responsibilities:

  • She/He will be responsible of production planning in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in line with Project Planning – Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
  • Material demand in ERP based on production planning, maintenance planning, repairs planning, sales orders or statistical methods
  • Material Net Requirements and forecasts in ERP (or alternative) based on Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) process
  • Leadership and coordination of missing parts anticipation process and missing parts root cause analysis
  • Planning and inventory strategy deployment based on parts typology, demand input, volume, price and other potential characteristics
  • Key Performance Indicators monitoring and reporting and continuous improvement activity for planning
  • Work closely with suppliers on various projects
  • Material master data creation and maintenance (MRP type, MRP controller, make/buy, planning strategy, MRP parameters, …… )

 

Education:                                      

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of Material, Production and/or Supply Chain Planning

One to two years related experience and/or training in a related field such as Purchasing, Sourcing, Logistics or other Supply Chain role

Fluent in English
