Coordinate suppliers QCD in project execution for dedicated commodity

Key interface between Alstom Transport project and suppliers

Is the representative of Train Sub-Systems & Domains for A & B+ on sites


-She/He will ensure for dedicated commodities that all the project management activities from business award to go serial and during commissioning & warranty phases are led to deliver QCD as per commitment

-Promote and implement reference solutions.


* Tender Phase:

· Ensure exhaustive gap analysis and risk mitigation plan to build together with Costing QCD Commitment

· Ensure full bid response and commitment (technical proposal, commercial proposal, schedule...).


* Project Phase:

· Drive project interfaces with internal customers and suppliers.

· Respect the QCD forecast and budget at completion and drives activities to match the commitment.

· Manage the team (buyer, supplier product quality development, supply chain, costing...) and suppliers to ensure deliverables.

· Drive the suppliers delivery.

· Interface with Project team.

· Interface with the customer on request of project team.

· Ensure follow-up routine with suppliers

· Ensure on time Project and customer’s approvals of relevant documentation.

· Ensure Return On Experience from project is used to improve the Reference solutions

· Management of any commissioning and warranty issue

Educational requirements

Bachelor Degree in Science of Engineering

MASTER degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) will be a diferential

Technical Knowledge / Experience
5 to 10 years of experience in Engineering, Project management or equivalent
Previous experience in managing supplier relationship
Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…) would be an asset
Behavioral and Technical Skills / Competencies
Fluent in English
Teamwork and good interpersonal skills (Frequent contacts with senior management level)
Ability to animate a multifunctional team
Rigourous and ability to deal with different projects and missions
Job Location / Mobility
On site (TBD) / Frequent international travels
