Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the design, validation, and delivery of high-quality electrical systems for our projects, making a tangible impact on the future of transportation. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (mechanical designers, manufacturing engineering, and harness suppliers), support industrialization and manufacturing ramp-up, and manage the configuration of electrical deliverables—and much more.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Guaranteeing the application of electrical and schematic métier rules,
  • Following deliverables to ensure alignment with project requirements,
  • Ensuring designs are producible, including PPS, SPS, CPS, harnesses, cable trays, cable ducts, routing, and integration,
  • Managing harness and installation changes, specifying electrical apparatus and BOM modifications based on Preferred Parts List and project requirements,
  • Ensuring compliance with EMC requirements,
  • Defining 3D models (routing and integration) for harness modifications in collaboration with mechanical designers and manufacturing engineers,
  • Updating deliverables in case of modifications, including coordination with harness suppliers and manufacturing teams,
  • Managing gaps to facilitate harness retrofitting,
  • Supporting industrialization and manufacturing ramp-up,
  • Leading first mounting review activities with stakeholders.

  • 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics (or a 2-year degree with relevant technical knowledge in the applicable discipline),
  • Electrical CAD experience,
  • Knowledge of electrical and/or electrotechnical engineering,
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Resilience and adaptability to work in a multi-site, international, and matrix organizational structure,
  • Ability to propose improvements to processes and deliverables,
  • Familiarity with DMA/Catia Electrical - desired.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematic tools and wiring-list/wireless schematic tools, electrical schematic/wiring software - desired.

Base Salary Range

In accordance with New York State law, the anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, and qualifications. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation.
