Purpose of the job:


  • Implement smooth and efficient collaboration between his internal customers (Integrator Sites), EDC  and Manufacturing Sites.
  • Be the manufacturing focal point in EDC Project Core Team and provide support to Electrical SSM on all issues related to electrical products manufacturing
  • Ensure electrical products planning and follow-up, thus getting harnesses and cubicles produced on time and in conformance with the required configuration.
  • Respect EDC project planning milestones and WoW implementation
  • Escalate to ESSM risks related to RC costs, delivery or configuration and propose the needed mitigation plans.
  • Contribute to the Return of Experience of each Project on his field and contribute to EDC capitalization & process improvements
  • Promote EDC way of working and accelerate understanding of electrical products development process




 Main Missions & Responsibilities:

  • Lead anticipated component supply, by communicating in early stage Long Lead Items list and by regular checks of procurement status with manufacturing site.
  • Secure manufacturing readiness by confirming critical elements are monitored (definition & availability of work stations/workflows/toolings …).
  • Lead discussion related to products delivery to Train fitting site (OEM & retrofit) and thus propose together with manufacturers the best achievable plans to ensure “right first time“ fitting.
  • Maintain up to date configuration vision of the products (applied vs applicable configuration)
  • Provide a timely updated schedule status and progress reports highlighting gaps between actuals and commitments.
  • Participate to product integration on train, working in close relation with project/site resources on customer site (support resources to integration on train or SubAssy) until serial GO.
  • Lead reactive problem-solving discussions related to products integration on fitting line.
  • Ensure on-time implementation of change requests and upgrade process at manufacturing site level in relation with the project until FAI or any other date if agreed otherwise.
  • Ensure proper handover with serial players at Serial GO
  • Permanently think how to contribute to improve leadtime to develop products (continuous improvement approach







  • Engineering degree
  • 5 years of experience in Logistic/Methods/Manufacturing Engineering in a similar industry
  • English fluent French would be a plus



  • Industrial & Manufacturing background
  • Project scheduling processes & knowledge of different scheduling tools
  • Capable to anticipate issues and to be proactive
  • Ability to prioritize and to work effectively under pressure to meet the deadline
  • Able to work in an international, multi-sites and matrix organization structure
  • Background in electrical components, electrical products developments, wirings
