We are looking for V&V Engineer based in Hong Kong to join our dynamic team. We deliver multiplesignaling projects to our customer MTR with dedication to sustainable and smart mobility in the field of design, engineering, installation and test & commissioning. You will be responsible for:

  • Work with V&V Manager for full coverage review of all Documents.

  • Ensures the verification activity defined in V&V Plan

  • Ensures the preparation of Requirement Validation Table

  • Design of FIVP Procedures for IXL, ATC, ATS, setting up the lab.

  • Define test plans and test descriptions for in-house activities. Liaise with PrCOM for exported tests

  • Ensures that Factory testing (via various means) provides a full coverage to guarantee a correct implementation of the requirements: functional requirements and safety requirements

  • Design, Review and update Test procedures/scenarios against System requirements for Metro Signaling System to be executed.

  • Independently applies extensive expertise as a generalist to meet company standards and customer requirements including the design of new/ modified interfaces, products and systems. Defines specifications for new or modified products / systems in area of signaling specialization to meet contract requirements 

  • Leads or participate in technical discussions with customer. Works closely with V&V Manager and Project engineering manager involving potential modifications to specifications, verification of specifications and strategizing test campaign for the project

  • Process oriented and demonstrates process compliance

  • Primary focal in Internal/external for Quality and Safety assessment audits for V&V

  • Perform test sessions: run test procedures, produce test reports and associated Change Requests If applicable: perform customer acceptance tests, participate to site tests Specify, design, develop and validate test environment & tools (test bench, recording tools, simulated I/O, …) Perform investigations on defects detected on test bench 

  • System Operation & Performance Test Report. (i.e. Safety, Robustness, Endurance, Redundancy...)Responsible for Impact analysis across baselines and freeze the non-regression strategy

  • Check that the test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated

  • Support T&C Team for Troubleshooting

 

You are expected to have these credentials:

  • Bachelors or master’s in computer science / Electrical / Electronics / Communications / Instrumentation,Computer Science/ Computer Engineering, Signaling competency

  • 3-5 Years of professional experience in Railway Signaling

  • Experience on T&C / Validation Activities

  • Knowledge on IXL / ATC / ATS Subsystems

  • Knowledge on computer networking and programming language

  • Competencies & Skills

  • Fluent in English

  • Good co-ordination and communication skills
