You will be responsible for:
- Execute testing activities:
- in support to one or several Projects on railway signalling systems under the direction of his / her hierarchy
- according to the testing procedure / documentation and following Subsystem T&C Engineer a/o Leader instructions
- Ensure defects identification and correction (trouble shooting)
- Check that the test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.
- Replace defective equipment and ensure its repair in accordance with the procedures in force
- In the event of a non-conformity observed during the commissioning phase, make a return experience (REX) towards the project, and ensure that all design related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including the defect description and associated test context
- Deliver the committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs and Deadlines and in compliance with Alstom policies, local standards and regulations (in particular EHS and Railway Safety)
- Take the role to be CP(T) of the self-working team, conduct safety briefing and reminder during the work at night if required.
You are expected to have these credentials:
- 4+ years of experience in construction, engineering, transport industry for infra and commissioning work
- Strong desire to achieve and willing to take challenges in a multinational organization and work with diverse environment
- Willing to learn, with team spirit, multi-tasking and open-minded
- Able to take an analytical approach for problem solving under time pressure
- Operational and personal safety awareness is essential
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken Chinese and English
- Registered Electrical Workers of A0 is a must
- Driving license
- First Aider is preferred
- Willing to work at night shifts and site works during weekends and on public holidays if required (This position is a full-time night work position.)
