ALSTOM Hong Kong Limited has been a major supplier of trains, signaling systems, infrastructure and services (maintenance, renovation and parts supply) to MTR Corporation over the last 40 years. Since the first metro project in Hong Kong in 1975, ALSTOM Hong Kong Limited has supplied over 1,100 metro cars for its metro network and equipped seven lines with signaling systems currently in operation, contributing positively to the urban transport system development in Hong Kong.

We are looking for Project Requirement and Configuration Manager (new project) based in Hong Kong to join our dynamic team. We deliver multiple signaling projects to our customer MTR with dedication to sustainable and smart mobility in the field of design, engineering, installation and test & commissioning. Requirement Management:

  • Responsible for application of Requirement Management Process within the project
  • Support Tools implementation
  • Strong knowledge on DOORs Tool and Liaise with client through DOORs
  • Follow up the status of Requirements (Allocation, Acceptance, Coverage..,) and manage requirement configuration
  • Report Requirement Coverage status to project by releasing a timely Dashboard
  • Knowledge on DXL scripting, Excel VBA programming and reporting (for Dashboard creation, reporting KPIs etc) 
  • Manage requirements (both Technical and project) of the project and to contribute to identify inconsistencies between those requirements and the project’s plan and design outputs
  • Provide regular updates in level of compliance, requirement coverage status etc to internal and external
  • Release of Project Requirement Documents with all coverages/compliances for internal and external


Change & Configuration:

  • Ensure application of configuration and change general procedures and instructions
  • Issue configuration and change management plan, with PM and Project Technical Manager to implement the configuration and change management process in the Project
  • Set up, plan and organize the CCB meetings
  • Verify that the changes are well documented
  • Establish the CCB reports
  • Coordinate and federate all the project actors regarding configuration and changes
  • Organize and manage the project evolutions through changes activities
  • Ensure rigorous traceability and reporting
  • Record, from actors’ information, the projected rank/date of change application (serial application, retrofit)
  • Organize and update configuration and change database for the project
  • Manage with PrXMs project baselines. Support PrXMs in the baseline integration
  • Issue configuration & change KPIs



  • Graduate of Engineering University or equivalent
  • 8 years of Project/Program management experience
  • Good knowledge of railway products and systems
  • Knowledge of Requirement Management, change & configuration processes
  • Strong knowledge on DOORs
  • Ability to communicate with all actors involved to produce efficient Project Requirement Table preparation
  • Ability to communicate with all actors involved to produce efficient CCB preparation
  • Systematic, rigorous and organised, able to sort out different matters at concurrent time period
  • Ability to detect side effects of ongoing changes to alert the relevant
