We are looking for Interface Engineer based in Hong Kong to join our dynamic team. We delivermultiplesignaling projects to our customer MTR with dedication to sustainable and smart mobility in the field of design, engineering, installation and test & commissioning. You will be responsible for:
- Support the System Interface management process: interface identification, interface register, taking into account the global Alstom Transport interests
- Participate to the definition of the System / subsystem Architecture, Functional Specifications, Transversal Specifications, Detailed Interface Specifications
- Organize the consistency of the interfaces assigned
- Manage the detailed interfaces definition (Software, Mechanical, Electrical Interface Design Description, cabling consistency, etc)
- Coordinator onshore engineering team to well interface with Customer and Offshore Design team to meet On Time Delivery goal and Contractual requirement
- In-time report to Interface Manager / SDIM, the progress of project interface activities including the management of Interface Control Document (ICD) progress, interface definition matters, and system interface testing
- Facilitate subsystems technical discussion with Client and/or Engineers
- Follow up demonstration of compliance to the contractual requirements and their allocation to the subsystems, and obtain Customer/Engineer approval
- Obtain Customer's (internal and external) satisfaction and confidence
You are expected to have these credentials:
- Bachelors or master’s in computer science / Electrical / Electronics / Communications / Instrumentation Engineering
- Field experience and a good knowledge of railway systems, available E&M equipment and Subsystems
- At least 2-3 years of experience in relevant Railway systems, T&C as preferred
- Good knowledge in System Engineering and interface definition a plus for Rolling Stock and Signallling system knowledge
- Knowledge of Signaling system (ATS, ATC and CBI)
- Knowledge in analysis of maintenance logs
- Requirement management process
- Change Request Process
- Aware of the International standard, able to apply it for define the interface
- A good level of English, Cantonese language would be an asset
- Demonstrate Team, Trust, Action values and proactivity
- Manage Conflicts of Ideas and able to work under pressure
- A good working relationship
- University Degree in Engineering or equivalent
