We are looking for EHS Officer based in Hong Kong to join our dynamic team. We deliver multiple signaling projects to our customer MTR with dedication to sustainable and smart mobility in the field of design, engineering, installation and test & commissioning. What are my responsibilities?

  • Deploy internal Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies/ process and tools in consistency with applicable standards and regulations to the project

  • Monitor the Environmental Management System, apply and maintain environmental-related permits and licenses

  • Assist in handling internal and external audits, and handle requests from the Client

  • Ensure compliance with the legal, contractual and internal requirements on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)

  • Provide EHS training, carry out inspections, and prepare safety and environmental-related reports

  • Support the Project EHS Manager to monitor the implementation of the Safety Plan and Environmental Management Plan according to the project’s progress

  • 5 shifts a week - Day/Night-shift arrangement depends on site activities (night shift allowance will be applicable)

 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Posssesion of recognised certificate of Environmental Officer Course issued by HKIC(CIC/CITA) or equivalent
  • Registered Safety Officer (RSO) qualification
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in MTR railway projects
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Self-initiative, strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint presentation
