Could you be the full-time Design Cost Engineer in our dynamic team?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and cost analysis expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, detail-oriented, and sustainability-conscious teammates.

You'll challenge costs and improve environmental impact with a "just enough" design approach. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain), identify main cost drivers, propose cost-effective designs, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of generating and formalizing saving opportunities, ensuring the consistency of assumptions, and also supporting design changes throughout the development cycle.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Calculating the technical cost of products and systems

  • Generating ideas for design improvement

  • Participating in the creation of target costs for tenders and projects

  • Promoting cost awareness within the Design Engineering team

  • Comparing and analyzing benchmarks of similar projects

  • Contributing to achieving project cost targets

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That is why we do not expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we have listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Engineering (Bachelor/Master)

  • Basic knowledge of industrial processes

  • Fluency in English, with optional German language skills

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and persistence

  • Excellent agility and collaborative spirit

  • Dynamic, proactive, and autonomous approach
