About the Role

 

Join a dynamic international team working on the industrialization and introduction of a next-generation high-speed train tailored for challenging environments and demanding customer expectations. As a VIE Product Introduction Analyst, you will support the coordination of warranty activities, logistics, and data-driven decision-making across multiple sites and stakeholders.

This role is based in Hennigsdorf, a key Alstom engineering and production hub, and offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a complex, multi-national rail project.

 

We’ll look for you to:

 

  • Develop and maintain PI documentation and knowledge platforms, including the PI DACH SharePoint environment, ensuring structured information management and alignment with internal quality standards.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, well-structured Product Introduction presentations to support management reviews, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication.
  • Create, harmonize, and manage a unified PI dashboard for the DACH region, enabling consistent KPI monitoring, improved visibility, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to Design for Quality (DFQ) activities, supporting the development of requirements, templates, and documentation for Gate Reviews and other governance processes.
  • Support the definition, optimization, and documentation of Product Introduction processes, including the development and maintenance of the PI DACH Handbook.
  • Participate in Reliability Growth activities, assisting with data analysis, reporting, and coordination between PI, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, quality, supply chain, and customer interface) to ensure process transparency, structured problem solving, and alignment on quality-related topics.
  • Ensure adherence to internal standards and external regulations (ISO, EHS, RAMS) and contribute to continuous improvement of PI processes across the organization.Support the setup and coordination of Product Introduction (PI) activities at the production site.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics flows, consignment stock, and material availability.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of field modifications and retrofits.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (QCD, EHS, reliability).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PI processes and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain, customer interface).
  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations (ISO, EHS, RAMS).

 

All About You  

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Quality Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Initial experience in process-driven environments such as quality, industrial operations, project governance, or product introduction is an advantage
  • Strong analytical abilities with expereience in handling and interpreting data for multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in Power BI (dashboard creatio data modeling, DAX) and solid Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Understanding of quality-related processes such as DFQ, gate reviews, documentation standards, and reliability growth methodologies.
  • Experience with process documentation, workflow definition, or knowledge management platforms (e.g., SharePoint) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industrial processes, supply chain flows, or technical project environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders. 
  • Strong organizational mindset: structured, detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work autonomously while engaging effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High sense of responsibility with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Basic German skills are essential and can be further developed after onboarding.
  • Additional languages are an asset.
