Responsibilities:

• Bring new ideas, executes, and manages research and product development projects (internal + at suppliers) related to systems & sub-systems for implementation into railway vehicles
• Take lead on one or several ideas and transform them into reality
• Suggests innovative solutions and R&D partnerships opportunities in line with Alstom’s development strategy and considering customer’s needs and requirements.
• Structure the project (Scope, schedule, budget) and get Kiosk approval
• Ensures applicability of the developed products onto commercial projects through close collaboration with Tender & Project teams (Engineering, Costing, Sourcing, Quality, etc.)
• Develops the network of internal and external R&D partners for innovation in relation to modular & reconfigurable mechanical assemblies.
• Link with Alstom R&D platform and region project for collaboration
