Could you be the full-time Train Validation Engineer (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?


Your Future Role


2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf (close to Berlin) the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Team Leader Train Validation Engineering and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.


We’ll look for you to :


•    Manage the Train Validation project team
•    Manage the Train level validation activities, creating and maintaining the Validation Plan
•    Manage the Validation Schedule, optimize the validation sequence in relationship with the train design and configuration maturity and test means availability
•    Interface management (intern/extern) relevant to test at Train level (e.g. handover of vehicles; supplier deliverables)
•    Manage the consolidation of Train Validation commitment and performance in due time for the tender or the project
•    Implement the standard process and related methodologies and tools in order to ensure Validation efficiency
•    Ensure the timely issue of the Validation proves (including proves of lower level systems and components) and consolidate Validation files
•    Provide structured REX to feed costing activities, and to enrich the Train Validation metier technical repository
•    EHS KPI and compliancy to EHS rules in Validation activities
•    Approve reviewing Train Test Procedures / reports
•    For Validation scope establish & organize Technical Interface with customer, producing Customer Documents and obtain Customer Approval when necessary

•    Experience in team and project management: multi-metiers or multi-sites team and project, including Customer and external stakeholders Technical Management
•    Train system knowledge (system analysis, railways) 
•    Tests organization capability, knowledge of planning tools 
•    Knowledge of Standards & Regulation for railway
•    Knowledge of Work Package Management
•    Fluent in English and German (French beneficial)
